IRA Account

IRA Account

An IRA is a tax free retirement savings plan that is technically a trust account held by a Trust Company for the beneficiary (you). Therefore, an IRA account must be held by an approved Trust Company that allows futures trading. Traders can trade futures through an IRA with ApexFutures using Midland IRA or Millenium Trust, as the trust company for their Traditional IRA, Roth IRA, Rollover IRA or SEP. Since futures trading is highly risky please consider whether using retirement funds is appropriate in light of your financial situation.

  1. Fill out one of our Individual account application here.
  2. Fill out the online Midland IRA forms.
  3. Wait about 1 week for account approval process.
  4. Mail check or send wire to Advanta Trust (if you did not fill out the Transfer Form).
Online trading has inherent risk due to system response and access times that may vary due to market conditions, system performance, volume and other factors. An investor should understand these and additional risks before trading. Options involve risk and are not suitable for all investors. Futures, options on Futures, and retail off-exchange foreign currency transactions involve substantial risk and are not appropriate for all investors. Please read Risk Disclosure Statement for Futures and Options prior to applying for an account.

*Low margins are a double edged sword, as lower margins mean you have higher leverage and therefore higher risk. All commissions quoted are not inclusive of any fees, unless otherwise noted. Apex does not charge for futures data, the CME charges $2-12 per month depending on the type of data you require.
